In 1983, at just six years old, Sensei Alejandro embarked on his martial arts journey, following in the footsteps of his father. From the very beginning, he embraced the discipline, dedication, and philosophy of a well-balanced martial arts lifestyle. His passion for the art has only grown stronger over the decades, shaping him into not only a highly skilled martial artist but also an inspiring mentor.
Beyond the dojo, Sensei Alejandro is a dedicated scientist committed to the fight against cancer. He earned his degree in Biochemistry from UC San Diego while simultaneously advancing his martial arts training, demonstrating an exceptional balance between intellectual pursuit and physical mastery.
Sensei Alejandro has competed in some of the most prestigious martial arts tournaments worldwide, consistently securing top rankings. In 2021, he earned a bronze medal at the World Championship in Jesolo, Italy, and in 2022, he claimed gold at the Pan-American Championship in Cascavel, Brazil. His extensive experience in both national and international competitions has equipped him with the knowledge and skills to train his students at an elite level. As the official trainer for the Baja California kickboxing team, he is dedicated to shaping the next generation of champions.
Committed to giving back to the community, Sensei Alejandro actively volunteers in school programs, bringing karate training to children and instilling in them the values of discipline, respect, and perseverance. His success, he acknowledges, would not be possible without the unwavering support of his family, who play a vital role in the operation of his karate studio.
A black belt with over three decades of experience in Lima Lama Karate, Sensei Alejandro’s passion for martial arts is evident in every aspect of his teaching. Alongside his family, he has competed in numerous tournaments, earning countless accolades and inspiring his students to reach their full potential. His lifelong dedication to the martial arts continues to shape the lives of those he trains, fostering a legacy of excellence, discipline, and perseverance.
